All women who are members of All Saints Lutheran Church (ASLC) are part
of WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America). This
active group meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month. WELCA is
a network of nearly 500,000 women internationally who make a difference
in the world because God has made a difference in their lives.
The global mission is:
To mobilize women to act boldly
on their faith in Jesus Christ.
Our Purpose Statement:
As a community of women
created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and
empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith,
affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in
ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church,
the society and the world.
