In the spring of 1981, a group of people gathered together in Gwinnett County with the dream of organizing a new congregation of The American Lutheran Church. This possibility became a reality as a site was determined, property was purchased, and a pastor/developer was called.

An agreement was made with the local school system to begin worshiping at Arcado Elementary School where the first worship service was celebrated on October 25, 1981. It was a special day for Lutherans since it was Reformation Sunday. The following week was All Saints Sunday, and it was from this church festival the new congregation got its name.

The rest, as they say, is history. With a strong sense of mission, both locally and world-wide, which continues to this day, All Saints grew steadily throughout the 1980’s and 90’s. Christians, both near and far, benefited from this ministry.

We are currently in the process of discovering a new vision, and are experiencing a renewed sense of passion and commitment. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we look ahead with excitement to where God is leading us, trusting that the God “who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6)
